Here are some different types of icing. (Pictures soon.)
Glace Icing
You will need:
6oz/175g Icing Sugar
2-4 tbspn Water
A few drops of any food colouring
Mix all the ingredients into a bowl, and spread on the cakes. Be careful- it will set quickly!
Simple!
Buttercream icing
6oz Icing Sugar
3oz Butter, softened
2-3 tbspn Semi-skimmed milk (semi-skimmed for less fat.)
Beat the butter in a medium sized bowl until soft.
Mix in the icing sugar and milk.
Stir until smooth.
Try using a fork at the end, to smooth out all the lumps!
